The Utah Shooting Sports Council is Utah's leading gun rights organization. We lobby the Utah State Legislature to defeat gun control and pass pro-gun legislation. We are dedicated to the preservation, protection, and defense of the individual right of all Utahns to keep and bear their private arms for security and defense of self, family, others, property, the state, and all other lawful purposes. We also promote gun safety as well as the recreational and self-defense use of firearms. We are an all-volunteer organization governed by a seven-person board of directors elected by our membership.
To accomplish our stated purpose, USSC shall be guided by the following principles in the establishment of its programs, policies, and procedures.
